The front desk is staffed 24 hours, so a late ferry, a delayed flight into Preveza or Ioannina, or a long drive down the coast is never a problem. Arrivals are handled personally, and both private check-in and express check-in are possible if you would rather go straight up to the apartment. Sending your expected arrival time in advance is the single most useful thing you can do, because it lets the family plan who meets you at the door.
Early departures are common here, particularly for guests catching morning flights or driving back north, so the early window exists for exactly that reason. Express check-out keeps the last morning short, and you are welcome to have a final coffee on the terrace before you load the car, since parking sits a few steps from the apartments rather than down the road.
This is an apartment-style property with family rooms, so children fit into the day naturally rather than being worked around. Children aged six and above are charged as adults. A crib can be provided on request for ages nought to three, subject to availability, and it is worth asking at the time of booking rather than on arrival. There are no extra beds available, so the number of guests should match the apartment you reserve.
Dogs and other pets are genuinely welcome and there is no surcharge for bringing them. The garden, terrace and direct beach access make it an easy place to travel with an animal, and the quieter stretch of Vrachos seafront means walks early in the morning and late in the evening are calm. Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the property.
Free private parking is available at the apartments and does need to be reserved, so mention a car when you book. Cash is not accepted on site, so plan to settle everything by card, including anything taken at the bar and coffee house. Currency exchange can be arranged through the front desk if you need it during your stay.
An airport shuttle can be arranged for an extra charge, which suits guests who would rather not pick up a hire car for a beachfront week. The family and staff speak German, Greek, English, Italian, Romanian and Russian, so questions about the beach, the local shops, the tavernas around Vrachos or day trips further along the Ionian coast can be answered in whichever of those feels most comfortable.
